Nguyen Hoang Restaurant in Windsor

Chilly weather= Phó! I recieved a tip on a Phó spot in Windsor and being me, I'll travel for food! This establement was clean, family owned and as authentic as I have had outside of Cali! I ordered #45 sirloin beef, meatball, brisket, tendon & tripe! The broth had such a deep beefy but delicate flavour, the beef was thin and rare, tripe and tendon jus melted in your mouth! You can tell someone knew what they were doing in the kitchen! All the sides were plenty, and fresh. Also ordered #64 similar to a Tom Yum soup this was awesome more of a chicken broth with fish sauce flavours it complemented the ingredients beautifully ordered it medium spicey(gotta have spice in Tom Yum!) I jus can't believe I've been missing out for sooooo long (they've been in buisness for over 27yrs!). Jus a few pointers, cash only, if your confused ask the staff they'll gladly help and lastly slurping is allowed!

Pho for to go is not good as you dining in. Soup is not enough, noodle is stick. Ask for enough soup but charge more. 15 dollar ?Will keep support, but wish to fix that.

A handful of good vegetarian options. I love to order the vegetarian vermicelli salad bowl with the eggrolls and tofu. Also very affordable and excellent service.

Tasty pho + good portions + ample seating

This place serves some of the very best pho around. Not as salty as what other places serve, the beef was fresh and really tasty and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Clean, friendly and efficient service. Customer parking is in the back. Cash only!

Great food normally order the phu with egg noodles and avocado and durian drink. Service is quick.

Very authentic and rich tasting broths/dishes. Great service and fair price. The ingredients are fresh and they aren't stingy with the meats in the pho. Only thing I would suggest is for them to get bigger straws! It is very difficult drinking their smoothies through those straws! But the smoothies are delicious and I highly recommend.

This right here. This is the stuff.When I was first introduced the pho, I was skeptical. What could be so great about a noodle soup?... oh how wrong I was.This is a dish that you yearn for, that takes a place in your soul.A nice intimate environment (that is sadly not open on Wednesdays) with very friendly, accommodating staff. I've never had an issue finding parking a stone's throw nearby.10/10 would strongly recommend.

Had Pho for the very first time today, and I am glad this is place where I had it. I had heard about the other, more noteworthy Pho places in this city, but my friend directed me here, he says it far surpasses everywhere else. This Pho was immaculate, delicious, and fresh, and I will return often! If you aren't a fan of the surrounding neighbourhood, do not worry about it, these areas have the best food in any city.

One of the best pho anywhere. On par with the best from Toronto (Pho Con Bo... etc). Beef is tender without being fat. Broth has that small town flavour, you will know what I’m talking about when you try it. Can’t believe those negative comments... when I eat Pho, I don’t care about ambience, service and I don’t mind paying cash... The Pho is excellent, period.

Staff is very friendly and quick, came in while it was pretty busy and got my food with minimal wait. All questions and concerns were accommodated very receptively and the food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

I have been to a Pho restaurant in pretty much every major city between Ottawa and Windsor. This place is one of just three I have been to that I will go out of my way to visit, and it's been my weekly crave for 17 years. The Pho is the real McCoy every single time, never any surprises, and everything on the menu is prepared with fresh ingredients.Someone else said they only had four seats, not sure what she was smoking lol! PLENTY of seating and, even when it's the dinner rush, the service is friendly and efficient. Whether you are a local or tourist, you won't find better Vietnamese west of Toronto and even their Pad Thai is memorable.Enjoy!

The best pho in the whole city! This restaurant serves the tastiest broth I've ever had in my life. Portions are amazingly large and the service is excellent. There is a lot of seating so you can bring a large group or you can just bring a date and they will be impressed. Convenient hours but they are closed on Wednesdays.

Have been coming here for years. Great variety and very consistent dishes. Prices are low and service is fast.

Noodles are really great. But rice with pork chopped was not good because I wish I could have more portion of pork.

Freshest ingredients, amazing flavour and service like never experienced!! So glad I found this place in my travels....only negative is they are not located closer to Toronto. Worth driving 4 hours...yes that good 😎.

Fantastic food and great service.

The pho here is pretty good. The broth is both sweet and fragrant. They have various combination of meat so it is easy to get what you like. The portion is American size so stick to small if you are a small eater. This is a family runs restaurant so the service can be a little slow as it is always crowded. The menu is in English and that helps. The price is fair.

Delicious pho! I don't know if it's a regular thing on Pho places in Windsor, but I like they serve bean sprouts, fresh basil and lime on the side, so you can add it to your taste.

It's become my favorite Vietnamese place west of Mississaug. The PHO is phenomenal, deep omplex flavors and the cuts of meat are commiserate with your order size. The Rice platters is one of the best in Winfsor. While others serve thibkly sliced pork si.ilar to a thick cut deli meat flashed fried on a griddle, you get an actual pork chop, that's been marinated, with the egg properly cooked to run like a sauce when you cut into it. The beef stew is the only passable dish, while i would easily recommend everything else. While, I have had pretty much every dish on the menu, the blended drinks are on my list of things to try in the future.

Best pho in Windsor so far !!! Fresh bean sprouts, lime and basil on the side are so good !!! I order the vegetarian option sometimes with tofu and it so full of flavor aswell. Love how they bring jasmin tea out right away ! Would recommend !!!
